Children with a disruption due to an unmet need during there childhood development may behaviour ways where they become socially isolated. These behaviours can present as aggressive to the untrained eye when in fact the child has learned to communicate in that way. Their stories are told not through gesture or setting, but through the eyes. These are eyes that have witnessed much,  eyes that look beyond the surface, seeing past the glib and the performative.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe gaze is penetrating yet restrained, observant rather than accusatory. There is intensity here, but also gentleness: kind eyes, warm eyes, eyes that hold empathy alongside vigilance.
